Forest City will reinvent Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum into a thriving sports, entertainment and retail district in Long Island. Just as its predecessor project AYII revitalized and strengthened the New York City borough of Brooklyn, increasing consumer interest, traffic and revenues for the project and the city; Nassau Coliseum is expected to achieve similar success. The vision for the re-imagined Coliseum is supported by world class architecture, great programming and a redefined guest experience.The venue will be located upon 77 acres, and offers approximately 145,000 square feet of dining and entertainment, a Fillmore Theater and a remodeled facade, concourse, bowl, box offices and event level.Just as its predecessor project AY II revitalized and strengthened the New York City borough of Brooklyn by increasing consumer interest and traffic, and resultantly revenues for the project and the city, Nassau Coliseum is expected to perform at the same level.
