Is there a limit or rule of thumb regarding how much (what percentage) EB-5 capital I can raise for my project?
Answers
There is no legal limit under the program with respect to how much of a project's capital stack can be EB-5 capital. A good rule of thumb, however, is to seek 40% or less EB-5 capital. The remainder of the capital stack should be, at least in part, fulfilled by a reasonable amount of investor equity. Commonly, any shortfall between the two is funded by either independent investors or a loan.
