American Lending Center Executives Lead at 2019 Taiwan Immigration Fair

EB-5 Visa, EB5 Visa, EB5 Investments

Continuing successful efforts to expand in key Asian markets, American Lending Center (ALC), a leading EB-5 regional center, hosted a booth at the 2019 International Fair for Immigration, Education and Investment for which the company also served as a gold sponsor. ALC Chief Operating Officer Stella Zhang also led several EB-5 investment and immigration information seminars in Taipei and Taichung on April 14, 16 and 19.

The event, sponsored by the Taiwan Immigration Consultants Association (TICA) and the Chinese Immigration Quality Assurance Association (CIQAA), is the most influential immigration conference in Taiwan. Though introduced in the 1990s, the EB-5 program is only now gaining momentum in the country due to minimal waiting periods for Taiwanese investors and their family members to obtain conditional green cards. In the context of Chinese EB-5 visa retrogression issues, this has created a significant advantage for the capital raise in Taiwan.

ALC, the sole EB-5 program approved by TICA and the National Immigration Agency of the Taiwan government, highlighted its unique investment approach of harnessing the senior loan structure in U.S. government-backed loan programs. The company opened its Taipei office in April 2018 to support current and potential investors.

“As ALC fosters partnerships with top immigration consulting firms throughout Taipei, the effectiveness of our approach and the widespread positive impact regional center expansion has had on EB-5 markets in Asia is clear," Bruce Thompson, president of ALC, commented. "We are thrilled to see Taiwan’s enduring interest in exploring the development opportunities ALC offers, and are excited about the potential new investments this will bring to American entrepreneurs.”
