With the Earth Retention System complete 20 feet below grade, soil excavation moved into high gear. Multiple pieces of earth moving equipment work together to quickly remove the remaining soil that is twenty feet below grade.
Also, you will find photos that fully expose the large four center horizontal steel tubular support braces that are essentially using the entire WESTERN wall of the basement to brace the EASTERN wall of the basement.. Nice magic trick!
At the minus 20 foot depth, the deep underground caissons caps are exposed. These caps will soon be connected to large underground concrete grade beams which will be begin to be installed next week.
From here, its now, quite literally, UP... Up... And AWAY!!!!
