The latest I-526 Petition processing times at the Immigrant Investor Program Office show slightly faster processing times.
The updated processing time range for the Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur (I-526) is: 29.5 months – 44.5 months. The previous time range was 31 months -50.5 months, showing a significant improvement in processing times.
The data used to come up with the processing time range is captured two months earlier. Therefore, the current processing time range is based on March data or earlier. As the new visa availability approach takes effect and the Coronavirus impact is taken into account, we may see even faster processing times. While USCIS has closed its offices and temporarily halted duties involving interaction with the public, they have continued to process petitions.
The updated receipt date for a case inquiry is August 29, 2016.

According to USCIS, the first number is the time it takes to complete 50% of cases and the second number is the time it takes to complete 93% of cases.
