Movers & Shakers: Crocker Partners names new managing partner…and more
Angelo Bianco has been promoted to managing partner of Crocker Partners, the investment and development company announced this week.
As partner and senior executive since 2001, Bianco managed the firm’s capital markets and investor relations and led operations in Florida and Texas. He was previously counsel for Tishman Speyer Properties in New York and started his career as a real estate attorney with Bachner, Tally, Polevoy & Mishner, according to a press release.
Crocker Partners’ $2 billion portfolio includes 8.6 million square feet of Class A office and mixed-use properties in the Southeast.
Arnstein & Lehr LLP is expanding its Florida team. Immigration attorney and EB-5 expert Roger A. Bernstein was named a partner and will lead the law firm’s immigration practices group. He’s also joining Arnstein & Lehr’s EB-5 practice group, which is chaired by partner Ronnie Fieldstone.
Bernstein works with developers, regional centers and high net worth individuals to navigate the popular visa program, which grants green cards to foreign nationals who invest at least $500,000 in a job-creating venture.
Bernstein was previously with Bernstein Osberg-Braun, a firm he co-founded in 1998.
Arnstein & Lehr also brought on Amy Link as a partner in the immigration practice group, and associates Cynthia V. Gomez and Qian Wen.
Florida East Coast Realty promoted Luis Espinosa from director of marketing to vice president of marketing. Espinosa has handled marketing, sales and public relations for FECR since 2001. Espinosa previously works for the Miami Herald and Southland Corporation.
In his new role, he will lead campaigns for the company’s commercial and residential portfolio. FECR is working on Panorama Tower, which is under construction, and One Bayfront Plaza, which will be the tallest building south of New York.
Grass River Management, a division of the Coconut Grove-based real estate firm, promoted Vicki Baisden to senior general manager and Alex Schreer to vice president of marketing.
Baisden joined Grass River in 2015 as general manager of the Shops at Sunset Place. In her new role, she’ll oversee day-to-day operations at the property, including training and recruiting employees, managing the vendor bidding process, supervising tenant relationships, completing annual budgets and planning capital improvements.
Schreer joined the firm in 2015 as director of marketing. He will now oversee the marketing and branding for the Shops at Sunset Place and CocoWalk, shopping centers Grass River purchased in partnership with Federal Realty Investment Trust and the Comras Company for a combined $200 million in 2015.
