Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development Regional Center
The Pennsylvania DCED Regional Center is a partnership between CanAm and The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), a non-profit economic development agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Projects offered by the Pennsylvania DCED Regional Center are located in 43 counties within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and target such industries as health care, higher education and manufacturing. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) formally designated the Pennsylvania DCED Regional Center on April 13, 2007.
The mission of the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) is to foster opportunities for businesses to grow and for communities to succeed and thrive in a global economy. DCED aims to improve the quality of life for Pennsylvania citizens while assuring transparency and accountability in the expenditure of public funds.
Economic development, education and workforce agencies are working together like never before to meet the needs of employers. All of these efforts have created an environment of certainty and predictability in Pennsylvania – one where businesses feel confident and can thrive and grow.
