YOMIURI GIANTS HOLDING ANNUAL “MINI-CAMP” TRAINING IN GUAM

With opening day of the 2016 season just weeks away, members of the Yomiuri Giants are in Guam for annual conditioning training and skills work before the official opening of Spring training in Japan.

The Giants are the oldest of the currently active Japanese professional baseball teams and they are often referred to as the “New York Yankees” of Japanese baseball, in part because of their national and international fan following.

They are hosted in Guam by the Guam Baseball Academy and arrived last week for a two week “mini-camp” that will end on January 20.  A team representative told local Guam media that the island’s sports facilities are ideal for the Giants’ needs.  While in Guam, Giants players will also conduct clinics for local high school student athletes.

Guam has long been popular with world-class athletes.  Over the years Olympic competitors and professional players, both individuals and teams, have used Guam for training.  The island is an obvious choice for professional athletes from Asia to train and vacation.

It is also a logical choice for immigrant investors from Asia to make their EB5 investment.   The island known as “America in Asia” is close-by, shares many cultural, historical, and other similarities with its Asian neighbors, has ideal year-round weather, and its investment opportunities are easily verified and monitored.

GUAM EB5 REGIONAL CENTER

Locally owned Guam EB5 Regional Center seeks out business plans that will satisfy job creation requirements for immigrant investor visas while helping preserve and protect the unique cultural identity and natural beauty that is creating economic opportunity and fueling economic growth in Guam.

Ours is a community-based approach to smart growth that benefits developers, investors, and the island we call home.

As NBC News anchor Richard Liu recently told graduates at the University of Guam, “You are part of the US and Asia at the same time.  You are the bridge to spaces far and wide like no other place in the United States.”

Such unique and special qualities are not only a hit on the baseball field but can be a home run for EB5 immigrant investors too.  To learn more contact Guam EB5 by clicking here www.guameb5.com
