Wyndham Garden Ft. Lauderdale Airport (or the "Project") is the first of four assets within Atlantic American Fortune Fund II, LP (AAFF II), which is now closed to new investment. The Project is a 142-room limited service hotel that will operate under Wyndham’s Wyndham Garden hotel brand. The Project features amenities indicative of a limited service hotel and will primarily cater to business and leisure travelers traveling through the Fort Lauderdale Airport and Port Everglades cruise ship terminal.
The Project was centered around the development of vacant land, located at 129 N Federal Highway in Dania Beach, less than one mile from the Fort Lauderdale Airport and two miles from Port Everglades. The Project will capitalize on the recent $791 million expansion of the Fort Lauderdale Airport, as well the ongoing expansion of the port, which is currently the second busiest cruise ship terminal in the world.
