The Coliseum

Developer Name
Douglas Development Corporation

Project Description

Our newest project, The Coliseum. This mixed-use project is a historic redevelopment of the Washington Coliseum -- the venue where The Beatles played their first concert in North America back in 1964. Douglas Development Corporation, a previous project partner of ours on 1000 F (Jobs Fund 11), and the owner of the USCIS headquarters building here in Washington, D.C., owns the project and will be redeveloping the site. Recreation and sporting goods store, REI, has already signed a 15-year lease for the majority of the retail space and will anchor the site. Once construction is fully underway, tenants will begin negotiating leases for the office space portion of the project.
