Florida Organic Aquaculture

Project Description

Florida Organic Aquaculture, LLC (FOA) utilizes a state-of-the-art closed loop, zero-exchange recirculating water system to grow delicious, all-natural Pacific White shrimp for the Florida marketplace. The sustainable aquaculture project is land-based and contained completely indoors, thereby eliminating many of the detrimental influences that effect the shrimp crop output of traditional open-pen farms. Strict bio-security measures and continuous water quality monitoring ensure optimal growing conditions year round, to outpace the seasonal availability offered by marine shrimp fisheries.
