Summerset Assisted Living
Project Description
In 2010, Summerset Assisted Living was formed to establish an assisted living and memory care facility. The USEDLC funded and approved SBA 504 loan for Summerset in 2012, allowing them to start construction of a 128 bed assisted living center. The construction has completed in 2014. It is expected to create 203 jobs in the area.
The building is comprised of 106 rental apartments and will accomodate 128 residents. The community is designed to serve as a small village environment that allows seniors to simplify their lives and enjoy onsite amenities such as restaurant-style dining, libraries, internet lounges, a theater, a beauty-barber shop, as well as game and recreation rooms.
