Project Description
City Market at O Street is a mixed-use development project consisting of two phases (see City Market at O Street - Group 2 for details on the second phase of this two-part project). City Market at O Street is a mixed-use, supermarket-anchored development located in the Shaw neighborhood of downtown Washington, D.C., one block north of the Walter E. Washington Convention center. This project includes a 70,000 square foot Giant grocery store, a 180-room hotel, a 500-car, underground parking garage, and four towers of residential apartments, which will include approximately 626 units. The Giant supermarket is the largest chain supermarket in the District. The construction of this project was completed in 2014, and the Giant supermarket, the Cambria Suites Hotel, and the apartment complex are all open and fully operational.
