Project Description

315 Hotel Group and the Atlantic Regional Center for Foreign Investment (ARCFI) are offering 21 EB-5 investor positions to invest in the Hotel Durham EB-5 Project. 315 Hotel Group is a North Carolina based hospitality development company whose principals have in excess of 100 years’ combined experience in the fields of real estate acquisition and development, private equity investment, finance, and corporate law. While the principals’ experience is varied, their primary specialty is in the adaptive reuse of historic properties. 315 Hotel Group has undertaken the adaptive reuse of an existing mid-century modern bank building, located at the heart of downtown Durham, into a 54-room, full-service, luxury boutique hotel – Hotel Durham. The development project will include the hotel, a full-service restaurant, an outdoor rooftop lounge, business meeting space, a business center, and a fitness facility. Hotel Durham will benefit from guests who want to enjoy the city’s diversity and recent revitalization focused on arts, entrepreneurship, development, and nightlife. Durham’s appeal as a leisure destination is growing and is fueled by an increasing national awareness of its many festivals, arts venues, museums, educational resources, history and emergence as one of the country’s preeminent food destinations. Drawing from these attributes, the hotel will be a lifestyle property rooted in both history and place. The opportunity exists for the project to anchor downtown Durham as a destination, while serving as a monument to local culture and mid-century design.

Hotel Durham will feature 54 luxury guestrooms with a mix consisting of king rooms, double queen rooms, deluxe rooms, suites and rooftop suites. A well-appointed business meeting space on the mezzanine level of the building will be appealing to small groups. Also available for use will be a fitness center, business center, full-service restaurant, and rooftop bar and lounge. Other noteworthy amenities include: breakfast – in the guestroom, the lobby, or on the roof; laundry service; valet parking; and high-speed wireless internet. In addition, the hotel will offer thoughtful turn-down service, luxury bedding and premium toiletries. However, what will truly set the Hotel Durham experience apart is not the numerous amenities, but rather the personalized level of service guests can expect. It is attention to detail and the ability of staff to anticipate guest needs that will define a stay at Hotel Durham. This will be much more than a place to spend the night. Hotel Durham will be a union of local hospitality, accessible luxury and uncompromising service.
