Utah Invest was designated as a regional center on July 8, 2013, for a geographic area comprising 24 of the 29 counties in the State of Utah within the industry categories personal care services and motion pictures and video. Further, USCIS issued a Policy Memorandum on May 30, 2013, that stated formal amendments to a regional center designation are no longer required when a regional center changes its industries of focus or geographic boundaries.
