Investors flock to EB5 Expo

Tom Rosenfeld, President and CEO of CanAm Enterprises, spoke about the future of EB-5 Program at 2019 Expo Hong Kong.

Rosenfeld shared his views on the future of EB-5 and the effects of proposed regulatory changes to the program.

He also explained what to consider when selecting a reputable EB-5 regional center to Hong Kong-based investors.

Rosenfeld and CanAm’s staff also took the opportunity to greet EB-5 agents and business partners, who are central to CanAm’s operations in Southeast Asia.

CanAm recently reached an important milestone when its EB-5 project repayments extended to $1.3 billion and its continues to expand its operations in Southeast Asia.

The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is administered by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The Program provides qualified foreign investors with the opportunity to earn “conditional” or temporary two-year green card status in return for investing $500,000 (or $900,000 after November 21, 2019) in businesses located in high unemployment areas that create or retain at least ten permanent full-time jobs for U.S. workers.
