Golden Chick will collect items for Lancaster Outreach during the restaurant’s grand-opening ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday.
The Texas-based fast-food chain will also present a donation to the Lancaster High School Band.
The Lancaster location at 1450 W. Pleasant Run Road has been open since late December and expects to provide up to 25 jobs, Golden Chick CEO Mark Parmerlee said.
Golden Chick is developing 10 EB-5 direct investment projects and has selected the new Lancaster location as its first, Parmerlee said.
EB-5 government programs are geared toward helping international investors bring jobs to the U.S. in areas that could employ significant numbers of workers from other countries.
