A group of 157 EB-5 immigrant investors is getting another opportunity to show that prior mismanagement of their investment funds isn’t an indicator that they no longer meet the visa requirements, a federal district court in Washington state ruled.

Judge Ricardo S. Martinez of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington Dec. 12 ordered U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to take a second look at its decision terminating the regional center status of Path America KingCo LLC, an EB-5 investment vehicle in Seattle.

Reinstating Path America’s regional center status means that investors can continue to seek.
