2017/05/15 7:00am

Wood Partners, a nationwide leader in real estate development and acquisition, announced today the Grand Opening of Delray Station in Delray Beach, Florida.

The 284-unit community, known as Delray Station, is centrally located near I-95 and the Tri-Rail commuter rail line which provides convenient links to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. Residents will have easy access to downtown Delray Beach and Lake Ida Park, including a two-mile bicycle path, two boat-launching ramps, canoeing and kayaking access, multiple playgrounds and dog parks, freshwater fishing and picnic areas. The community is also adjacent to the Delray Beach Seaboard Air Line Railway Station, the city's first building added to the National Register of Historic Places.

"Delray Station aligned perfectly with our strategic vision for Florida, and puts the area's activities and attractions within easy reach for our residents," said Charles Barrus, Regional Director of Wood Partners. "The community provides a perfect backdrop for the biking and pedestrian culture of Lake Ida Park, with direct access to nearby restaurants and bars — including Delray Beach's first local production microbrewery — and allows residents to get to work easily thanks to our proximity to major highways and the rail line."

Delray Station is comprised of seven, three-story residential buildings consisting of one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Residences include stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and wood-look vinyl plank flooring. A large clubhouse on-site features a demonstration kitchen, fitness center and yoga studio, cyber café, resort style pool with outdoor grilling and seating areas. Active residents will also have the option of utilizing the community's putting green and a free shared bicycle use program.
