The latest EB-5 Program news:

The EB-5 Regional Center Program expires at the end of this month, but is expected to be reauthorized as part of a Continuing Resolution.

USCIS adjusted filing fees are set to go into effect October 2, 2020.

A new proposed rule from DHS would expand biometrics collected and include iris image, palm print, and voice print. As part of the EB-5 process, EB-5 investors already have fingerprints, signatures and photos taken. This proposal would also require regional center principals to undergo biometrics.

EB-5 Case processing times:

Unless you checked the Receipt dates for case inquiries, you’d never know that the USCIS page was updated for case processing times because the estimated time range for Mainland-born China and the rest of the world did not change.

The estimated time range for Mainland-born China is still 54 months to 75 months, but the receipt date for a case inquiry is now June 30, 2014.

The estimated time range for all other areas is still 31.5 months to 60 months, but the receipt date is now September 27, 2015.
