A California immigration lawyer and her husband are at the center of an SEC investigation into an alleged EB-5 visa fraud worth over $10 million.

Jean Danhong Chen and her husband, Tony Jianyun Ye, made over $10 million in commissions through unregistered sales of EB-5 securities to clients of Chen’s San Jose law firm, according to an Oct. 18 Securities and Exchange Commission complaint.
