Today the U.S. House (328-30) and the Senate (voice vote) have passed a Continuing Resolution that will fund the U.S. government and extend the EB-5 Regional Center, Special Immigrant Religious Worker, and Conrad 30 Visa programs to May 5, 2017. E-Verify is also to be extended to this date. President Trump is virtually certain to sign the spending bill into law.
This short extension temporarily resolves months of anxiety regarding the ongoing status of these programs, especially with respect to EB-5 where significant program changes were proposed. All programs are extended without change, at least for the next week.
