Prior to joining EIG, Jeff began his legal career in Dallas where he advised a diverse array of corporate clients on US immigration law, from small businesses to multinational manufacturing, pharmaceutical and energy companies. Jeff is experienced in the preparation and filing of non-immigrant visas such as E-2, H-1B, L-1, R-1, and TN. He has counseled clients through the employment based immigration process, and is well versed in PERM, I-140 petitions, and I-485 Adjustment of Status applications. He has assisted individuals of extraordinary ability, outstanding researchers and professors, and multinational executives obtain permanent residence.
In addition to his business immigration experience, Jeff is well versed in family based adjustment of status and naturalization applications. He attended the 2014 American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) EB-5 Investors & Regional Centers Conference and has counseled real estate developers seeking regional center designation.
Jeff represented clients in cases before the Executive Office for Immigration Review, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals, and the Administrative Appeals Office.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Jeff graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. In 2012, he earned his Juris Doctorate from the Dedman School of Law at South Methodist University. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.
