At Impact DataSource, Paul is responsible for conducting economic impact and cost benefit analyses for economic development projects to help communities value prospective projects. He also researches and analyzes other economic and public policy issues for private and public clients.Paul also conducts analyses for larger projects, having prepared analyses of hospitals, mixed-use developments, oil and gas projects, manufacturing firms as well as a variety of other activities. In addition, Paul has completed several successful economic analyses for the USCIS EB-5 program.
Paul is a member of the Association to Invest In the USA (IIUSA) editorial committee, offering the economist’s perspective for the Regional Center Business Journal. Prior to joining Impact DataSource, Paul worked as a compensation analyst at the Texas Association of School Boards where he supported compensation consulting projects and helped streamline data analysis for a statewide salary survey. He honed his research skills at Clemson University where he completed several in-depth statistical research projects including a research paper concerning internal U.S. migration presented by his co-author at the North American Regional Science Council annual conference.
