Mr. Maglich practices immigration law exclusively, and is a member of the firm’s Immigration practice group. Mr. Maglich’s practice deals with all aspects of business-related visas, compliance by employers and individuals with U.S. immigration law (including in M&A transactions and workplace enforcement), and in proceedings before the Departments of State, Homeland Security, and Labor. His practice includes family-based immigration, complex consular issues, and removal and admissibility on criminal and other grounds. He works with specialized tax counsel to advise many private clients on the immigration component of tax and immigration planning. Mr. Maglich also assists in coordinating “outbound” (non-U.S.) immigration work.

Mr. Maglich has been a speaker, author, and teacher on immigration topics for organizations and schools including the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Practising Law Institute (PLI).

While attending law school, Mr. Maglich received public interest awards for launching human and civil rights projects. He was a Joseph R. (1999)) and was a Louis Stein Scholar in Public Interest Law.

Mr. Maglich has worked with Human Rights First (formerly the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights) on asylum cases and as a liaison and analyst on broader international human rights issues.  He has been a member of the International Human Rights Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.  Prior to directing the immigration practice, Mr. Maglich practiced immigration, trusts & estates, and tax law as a member of the Firm's Private Clients Group.  Mr. Maglich was a theater and media artist prior to becoming an attorney.
