Ms. Sophie Zhang is the firm’s partner based in Beijing, China.
Ms. Zhang’s practice focuses on business immigration, employment-based immigration and family-based immigration. Ms. Zhang has extensive experience in the field of EB-5 Regional Center, EB-5 direct investment immigration and L-1 visa, counseling individual investors, companies as well as regional centers and EB-5 industry associations. Ms. Zhang has been retained by Chinese immigration agents to represent investors in EB-5 petitions.
Ms. Zhang is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Association to Invest In the USA (IIUSA).
Ms. Zhang has extensive litigation experience including general litigation, commercial litigation and securities litigation in the state and federal courts. Ms. Zhang also represents Chinese companies and individuals doing business in the United States.
Prior to Reid & Wise, Ms. Zhang practiced law at another New York firm where she co-started the business immigration practice. She also practiced law at another litigation firm in New York City.
Ms. Zhang is a member of New York State Bar Association. She is also qualified to practice Chinese law. Ms. Zhang is a graduate of Columbia Law School.
