Representation of financial institutions, their officers and directors, and affiliated investment professionals in a wide variety of cases, including suits involving allegations of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, as well as lender liability cases; disputes involving negotiable instrument, wire, credit card, and bank account fraud; mortgage fraud; and various financial sector consumer class actions.
Experience assisting clients in a variety of industrial and commercial sectors with with securities fraud disputes, civil RICO proceedings, and a wide variety of intentional and non-intentional business torts and contract disputes, including clients in the hospitality, construction, energy, oil and gas, medical, technology, real estate, insurance, and telecommunications industries, as well as state and local public entities and officials.
Litigation experience with public records law disputes; information management and privacy law matters; public financing cases; bond insurance and credit rating regulation matters; unfair trade practice claims; non-competition and confidentiality/trade secret disputes; and with arbitration, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution techniques.
