He has successfully litigated and resolved multi-million dollar claims in a wide variety of business and litigation matters, including partnership disputes, construction matters, employment actions, consumer and class action claims, as well as securities and white collar criminal matters. He is licensed to practice in both California and Nevada.
Mr. Baum recently obtained a very favorable jury verdict in a two-week jury trial related to a complex real estate development project. His clients have included MGM Resorts, CB Richard Ellis, OneWest Bank, Fidelity National Financial, Inc. and Diamond Resorts International.
Mr. Baum understands business, and the effects litigation has on it. He also understands that, sometimes, the best litigation strategy may not be the best business strategy. This enables him to better handle business disputes for his clients, no matter where or how the dispute develops.
Mr. Baum received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, and his law degree from Loyola Law School. Under the California State Bar’s Certified Law Students program, Mr. Baum tried and won more than 20 civil cases before graduating from law school.
