BIO

With over three decades of experience observing the real estate and market trends of North Texas, Mehrdad Moayedi has been in the construction business for over 25 years. In 1990, he entered the homebuilding business when he established Centurion American Custom Homes, Inc. and has taken on executive duties as president of Centurion American Development Group. Centurion strategically enters into joint ventures with other private and public investors, working closely with cities to engage in real estate projects covering all areas of development activities. Not only has the company built several thousand homes, but since 2000, it has also developed lifestyles in over 40 different cities covering over 25,000 acres of land. Centurion’s investor relationships span the largest cities in Texas, including Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio as well as areas of Colorado.

Centurion has several award-winning communities in the DFW market area. The Villages of Woodland Springs was named the “Fastest-Growing Community in Fort Worth” from 2002-2005 by the Dallas Business Journal. The Resort on Eagle Mountain Lake in Fort Worth has been recognized as the “Best Golf Community” by Texas Golfer magazine (2005) and was voted one of the “Top 5 Hidden Gems” by Avid Golfer magazine (2012). Sendera Ranch in the Alliance Corridor is a three-time Grand Award-winning master-planned community recognized by the Fort Worth Builders Association (2005-2007). Likewise, The Highlands at Trophy Club was awarded the coveted Master-Planned Community of the Year honor by the Dallas Builders Association (2014) while Centurion was ranked as the “Largest North Texas Residential Developer” by the Dallas Business Journal (2012).

Mehrdad continues to provide some of the most sought-after, desirable residential communities throughout the DFW Metroplex. Consequently, his efforts have not gone unnoticed. In grateful appreciation for his dedicated service to the land development and homebuilding industry, Mehrdad was recognized by his peers as “Developer of the Year” by the Fort Worth Builders Association (2013). He also received the John Harbin Visionary Award (2013) for his dedication and impact in providing desirable living in Northwest Tarrant and Denton counties. Mehrdad and Centurion have been recognized numerous times by the Dallas Business Journal for the “Best Real Estate Deals of the Year”—most recently winning in the rehab/reuse category for the former Statler Hilton and Old Library Redevelopment Project (2015).
