Rick Randel began his legal career in 1988 as an associate with Pettit & Martin, a large San Francisco law firm, where his practice included corporate and partnership transactions, real estate and other syndications, and mergers and acquisitions. This was followed by a five-year stint as in-house counsel for a diversified real estate investment, syndication and property-management firm in Southern California.
Prior to forming Randel Law, Inc., Rick practiced as a Senior Attorney with MBV Law LLP in San Francisco, where his practice focused on new venture formation and securities law, ownership transition, representation of architects and engineers, mergers and acquisitions, limited liability companies, equity compensation and general business law matters. The successor firm to MBV Law LLP continues to bring Rick in as a consultant on matters where his special expertise is needed.
