Casey joined the firm as a partner in the Naples office of Woods, Weidenmiller, Michetti, Rudnick & Galbraith, PLLC on January 1, 2017. Casey heads the firm's immigration and naturalization, business organizations and international transactions group.
Casey began his practice in 1978 in Pittsburgh, PA and focusing primarily on immigration law. What started as obtaining employment visas for Pittsburgh engineering firms hiring Canadian engineers has evolved into representing clients from over 150 countries worldwide. In 1990, Casey moved to Naples, Florida, and three years later became a shareholder/partner in the law firm of Paulich, Slack and Wolff, P.A. ("PSW") where he established and ran the immigration and international practice section for the next 21 years. In May of 2014, Casey became a shareholder/partner in the Naples office of Gray/Robinson, P.A., an Orlando based law firm, with offices for 300+ attorneys in 12 Florida cities.
Casey is a frequent presenter and writer on immigration topics to business, professional, non-profit, legal, civic and educational groups. He is a frequent guest commentator to the Naples Daily News, teaches immigration courses at the Renaissance Academy of Florida Gulf Coast University, participated as an Adjunct Professor at Hodges University in Naples, and serves as a Moot Court Judge at Ave Maria School of Law, Naples, Florida. Casey has been called as an expert witness on immigration law for both plaintiffs and defendants in various civil lawsuits.
