Hazel Ocampo G.
Hazel Ocampo G. counsels clients on a variety of environmental, natural resources, land use and Native American issues. Hazel’s practice focuses on environmental law including energy, clean technology and sustainability. She regularly assist state and federal government agencies on project permitting involving the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), as well as representing businesses and individuals on permitting, compliance, litigation and enforcement matters under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, Superfund, the Endangered Species Act, and Proposition 65. Hazel is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California.
Hazel worked for the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), where she assisted with the implementation of NEPA. Prior to that, she served as an Executive Fellow in the Office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. As an Executive Fellow, she worked for the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA), where she handled issues associated with soil and water pollution along the United States border region.
