Chad is a Partner in Fragomen’s Los Angeles office. He joined the firm in 1998 and has counseled on a broad array of immigration matters for a diverse client base including organizations in the following industries: financial services (investment banking, corporate banking, wealth management, private equity), technology, consulting, insurance and risk management, hospitality, media, and energy, among others.

His practice includes all aspects of corporate immigration, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, naturalization, Form I-9 and Labor Condition Application compliance as well as corporate restructuring matters.

From 1996 to 1998, Chad served as a Law Clerk to federal Administrative Law Judge John C. Holmes of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals (BALCA) in Washington, D.C. where he assisted Judge Holmes in writing more than 50 appellate decisions.

Chad is a regular presenter at corporate client sites on business-related immigration developments and trends, and a frequent speaker at industry organizations and events. He has been a presenter at a number of Council for Global Immigration conferences on topics ranging from the impact of 9/11 on visa processing to H-1B Labor Condition Application (LCA) compliance. In addition, he served as an instructor on “Immigration for Start-Ups” at General Assembly, a global educational community for entrepreneurs and start-up companies in business, technology and design. General Assembly operates nine campuses across four continents.

Chad serves pro bono on the Board of Directors ofNorcross Wildlife Foundation, a nonprofit organization that manages 10,000 acres of land in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, and provides approximately $1 million in annual grants to nonprofit groups with core conservation values.
