Attorney Fatai Suleman, admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 2006, is a veteran attorney who first became an attorney in 1990 when he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. He was admitted to the New York Bar (Third Judicial Department) in January 1997, the Court of Appeals of Maryland in December 1997, and admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, Fourth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Maryland, and the District of Colorado. Attorney Fatai Suleman is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and is actively engaged in community service to his community and religious organizations.
Attorney Fatai Suleman firmly believes that the U.S. is a country of immigrants and as such he brings his passion to his immigration practice with the purpose of assisting all who desire to pursue the American Dream. Attorney Fatai Suleman also represents clients injured in auto accidents and/or slip and fall accidents. He also practice in the fields of Family law, criminal/traffic defense, general litigation and International Business Transactions.
Attorney Fatai Suleman graduated from the University of Benin, Nigeria where he earned the LLB (Honors). Thereafter, he attended the Nigeria Law School, Lagos where he graduated with a BL.
Awards: In 1998, Attorney Fatai Suleman received the Editor's Choice Award from The National Library of Poetry for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. He is also a recipient of Excellence and Service Awards from civic and religious organizations.
