Rob is a strategic business development leader with deep capital markets expertise in private and public markets across both equity and debt. He is passionate about driving innovation in capital formation and has conceived and launched new products and businesses within the industry.
Prior to joining ASMX, Rob was a founding team member of Nasdaq Private Market, where he led business development efforts for the Eastern US. In addition to engaging the initiative’s first private issuer clients for equity management solutions, Rob contributed to product and sales strategy.
Previously, Rob spent over five years at Liquidnet, originally as a member of the corporate strategy team and later as head of the firm’s equity capital markets (ECM) business. Rob developed the business plan, launched the effort and won Liquidnet’s first ECM mandates from private equity and venture capital firms as well as frequent public issuers, including market-leading REITs among others.
During an earlier tour of duty at Nasdaq, Rob worked within both the New Listings and Transaction Services businesses where he developed deep market structure expertise and practitioner’s knowledge of listings, capital formation and secondary market trading.
Early in his Wall Street career, Rob worked for Credit Suisse, Barclays and Lehman Brothers where he originated, traded and sold corporate debt to institutional investor clients. Rob earned his MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and his undergraduate degree in government from Dartmouth College.
