As leader of the firm’s investment immigration team, Ms. Zhang has in-depth expertise and experiences in planning EB-5 investor’s green card application and navigating around potential minefields of immigration regulations. She is also adept at assisting clients to deal with complex USCIS and US embassy procedures. Ms. Zhang has successfully handled numerous Immigrant and Non-immigrant applications for worldwide green card applicants and their spouses and children. She has developed a set of EB-5 visa petition protocols that help investors/petitioners navigate through the complex EB-5 visa process. Ms. Zhang keeps 100% approval rate for all her EB-5 visa petitions, and the one of our client received her Form I-526 (Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur) Approval Notice in 17 days.

Before Ms. Zhang’s immigration practice, she worked for a prominent law firm in New York City and focused on representing both public and private companies in connection with security offerings, financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Ms. Zhang advised issuers, investors and investment banks on public offerings and private placements. She also assisted public companies in reporting compliance and securities registrations.

Ms. Zhang received her Bachelor of Law from University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China. Subsequently, she was awarded the Thelma L. Shaffer Scholarship and attended University of Iowa College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Law (LL.M.) Degrees. Ms. Zhang co-authored the article “Sold into Adoption: The Human Baby Trafficking Scandal Exposes Vulnerabilities in Chinese Adoptions to the United States” which was published by Cumberland Law Review (Vol. 39) in 2009.
