Mr. Aiken is the founding member of the Southeast Partners Group of KW Commercial, a Regional Investment Team specializing in representing buyers and sellers of commercial real estate in the Southeast USA. With over 5,000 residential and commercial agents in the region, Southeast Partners Group leverages KW relationships and market knowledge to better serve its clients.
In 2011 and 2012 Mr. Aiken was awarded for being the highest producer in KW Commercial Atlanta Partners.
Mr. Aiken has practiced commercial real estate brokerage for 26 years and started his career with Royal LePage Commercial Real Estate in Atlanta, Georgia in 1987. Mr. Aiken developed a career in commercial real estate that has included representing major corporations in the acquisition and disposition of retail, office and industrial properties throughout the world.
In 1993, Mr. Aiken was awarded "Young Commercial Realtor of the Year" by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors.
From 1993 to 1999, Mr Aiken was the founding partner and managing director of the Moscow, Russia offices of Colliers International. While in the former Soviet Union, Mr. Aiken exclusively represented companies such as Hughes Aircraft, Nestle, Wrigley's, Price Waterhouse, and Proctor & Gamble, among others in the acquisition of commercial office and distribution facilities..
In 1999, Mr. Aiken returned to Atlanta, GA and formed The Aiken Company to provide Development, Property Management, Leasing and Brokerage Services. Mr. Aiken is the managing partner of Aiken Real Estate, LP, and currently owns, manages, and leases approximately 250,000 SF of retail, office, and office warehouse space in the North Atlanta market.
In 2009, to better serve his clients, Mr. Aiken joined KW Commercial in Atlanta, Georgia and became Director of the Sugarloaf office and in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 was elected to the prestigious National Commercial Leadership Council where he serves on the National Retail and International IPG Groups as a National Director.
Mr. Aiken is active in the following organizations: CCIM, ICSC, NAR, GRA, and the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. He lives on St. Simons Island with his wife and two young boys and is a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He works extensively in Atlanta, Coastal Georgia and the Southeast region.
