Marjan Kasra, Esquire is the founder of the Law Offices of Marjan Kasra, LLC. Attorney Kasra obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree in 1999. She earned her B.S. in Biology and Psychology in 1991 at the University of Connecticut, followed by a rigorous 2-year Post baccalaureate program at Columbia University in New York City.
After gaining the above education, she founded her Law Firm, and today she utilizes her expertise and talents to counsel a select group of clients in the area of Immigration Law. Attorney Kasra and her team specialize in Immigration Law, representing clients from all over the world. As an Iranian-American, Attorney Kasra has particular expertise in Iranian Immigration Issues.
In addition to handling a variety of Immigration matters, along with her team of EB-5 experts, Attorney Kasra and her team specialize in EB-5, and E-2 Visa categories. Attorney Kasra and her team provide guidance to both prospective investors, and to EB-5 Project CEO’s, regarding the best path to achieve their respective goals.
Attorney Kasra has extensive experience regarding the Iranian-specific issues as they relate to the EB-5 Visa category, and she works closely with all parties to evaluate legality of both Source, and Path of funds to a given U.S. Project. Attorney Kasra and her team work diligently in order to protect both the client, as well as the U.S. Project, and to ensure all parties act in accordance to U.S. laws and in compliance with both Immigration and OFAC rules and regulations.
Attorney Kasra is admitted to the CT State Bar. She practices Immigration Law in the US Federal Court system as she is admitted to the US District Court of Connecticut. Attorney Kasra is a member in “Good Standing” with the CT State and District Courts. In addition she is an active member, in good standing, of the prestigious American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where, by keeping herself well informed of the ever changing immigration laws, she is able to best serve her clients.
