Wayne J Chi born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, EB-5 attorney Wayne J. Chi graduated with honors and a President's Award from Punahou School. Wayne then received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service in International Politics and Asian Studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law.
While at Georgetown, Wayne studied under Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and Former National Secretary Advisor Anthony Lake. In law school, Wayne served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Edward M. Chen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, volunteered at local law clinic, and worked as a summer associate at a prominent Bay Area plaintiffs' law firm. He also served as the Lead Symposium Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review, a nationally recognized law journal, producing a ground-breaking Symposium on expanding marriage rights beyond traditional American families.
