Mr. Maruca co-founded Capital Placements in 2010 to continue building his placement capabilities developed over the past 10+ years while working with multiple institutional and high-net-worth investors. Prior to forming Capital Placements, Mr. Maruca was brought on board CEA Atlantic Advisors in April of 2005 as a Vice President to help establish the firm’s Institutional Placement Group, a division created to structure and market institutional private equity fund and individual project financing offerings. Mr. Maruca has extensive knowledge of the Commercial Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Community Reinvestment Act, Tax Credit and Private Equity sectors.
Prior to joining CEA Atlantic Advisors, Mr. Maruca gained extensive experience as a Vice President at Meridian Investments, Inc., a FINRA Broker/Dealer where he was responsible for placing institutional equity for tax advantaged investment programs in the Renewable Energy, Non-conventional Fuel, and Low Income Housing Tax Credits sectors.
Mr. Maruca earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance from Westfield State University. He is a member of the FINRA/SIPC and holds a Series 7, 79 and 66 licenses. Mr. Maruca has also been elected to the board of directors of Sail To Prevail, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1982 that has helped over 10,000 individuals with disabilities. Sail To Prevail (formerly Shake-A-Leg Newport) creates opportunities for disabled children and adults to overcome adversity through therapeutic sailing.
