Mr. Patel is the founding principal and CEO ofGCFID.
Concluding in 2011, Mr. Patel was previously a partner in a closely held family business which consisted of a portfolio of companies including insurance, finance, lodging, and real estate development. His responsibilities were wide in scope across each industry and included the acquisition and divestiture of several related business entities, development and disposition of various commercial real estate assets, and the overall planning and execution of corporate strategy.
Previously, he spent more than 20-years in executive management positions in the global telecommunications industry. His experience includes the following: Chairman and CEO of Rann Globalnet located in Prague, Czech Republic, Vice President and Board Member of GT-Vcom working throughout Hong Kong and China, Director of Sales at Unisource Carrier Services located in Switzerland, and Head ofUK Delegation for International Standards with British Telecommunications located in London, England.
Mr. Patel received a Masters of Business Administration from Warwick Business School and an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The City University in London. Originally from London, England, Mr. Patel currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
