The proposed investment will appeal to foreign investors who believe in its unusual business concept and are attracted by the experienced sponsorship team. It is a well-packaged EB-5 opportunity with a sponsorship group that is fully adequate to administer such a venture. Investors are likely to obtain their Green Cards (I-526 level). Longer term, we believe that there is a satisfactory chance of obtaining the Permanent Green Card (I-826) as well, although investors should consider the business prospects of the venture carefully. High asset values in the Miami area support investors’ prospects of ultimately getting their principal returned. However, the fees associated with the investment are high and net financial returns are negative.

The continuing care retirement community (CCRC) is a highly competitive industry in the U.S. According to Gupta, 2015 “we are heading into a kind of caregiver crisis. The number of people 65 years and older is expected to rise 101% between 2000 and 2030” (para. 9). Based on the total demand for retirement-care facilities are not satisfied the actual offer. Demographic and income trends support the viability of this proposed investment.
