Albert has over 15 years experience in Asia in both technology and investment banking industries. A Gary, IN native, Albert has spent most of his adult life in Asia. Albert worked in Nagoya, Japan as a systems engineer, providing consulting services for major automotive manufacturers. He also has worked for Japanese and global investment banking firms in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Before joining Ironwood Global Advisors, his most recent position was at Barclays Capital as Asia-Pacific Head of Electronic Trading Services, helping build the firms Asian Equities platform and managing client trading across 10 markets in Asia.
Albert completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Morehouse College, Atlanta, GA in 2000. During his undergraduate studies, Albert also attained a Japan Studies Diploma at the International Christian University (ICU), Tokyo, Japan in 1998 as a study-abroad student. Albert also holds a International Executive MBA from the University of Iowa, Tippie School of Management. Albert is fluent in Japanese and is currently undertaking Mandarin Chinese studies.
