Shannon Howell is the President/ CEO of Devcon Services Group, LLC, a consulting company specializing in Real Estate Development, Business Management and Heavy Construction. Mr. Howell has been involved with some of the most complex and upscale real estate projects in the Southeastern United States. He started his career in the Civil Engineering field in the U.S. Air Force with experience in almost every facet of civil operations, to include construction of roads, water and wastewater facilities, site development activities, and golf course construction.
Mr. Howell served as VP of Engineering and Operations Manager of several public utility companies.
Upon leaving the public sector, Mr. Howell gained tremendous experience in every level of Real Estate Development including extensive expertise in planning/ design, permitting, horizontal and vertical construction, marketing, and sales. His real estate experience spans some 20 years and 27 projects. For thirteen years, he was involved in and managed successful real estate ventures in North Carolina and the South West Florida corridor, from Sarasota to Naples, during a time of explosive growth and shifting market conditions. During this time, Mr. Howell was involved in the development of over a billion dollars of real estate assets. For the past eight years Mr. Howell has been involved in the real estate market and in business management in the Panhandle area of North West Florida.
Mr. Howell has the remarkable ability to analyze and solve difficult problems, maximize production capacities, and manage all levels of personnel and subcontractors. Mr. Howell has the following accreditations:
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, Southern Illinois University
• Florida Certified General Contractor, Class "A"
• Masters Certificate in Hospitality Management, Cornell University
• Associate Degree in Environmental Services, Georgia Military Institute
