Mr. Yang is a passionate real estate investor and successful entrepreneur in several industries. In 2003, Mr. Yang co-founded the first web-based platform in China facilitating cross-border eCommerce. Besides his technology venture, Mr. Yang is a strong advocate of foreign direct investment in the United States. He has formed groups of investors to invest in various real estate projects in the state of Connecticut. Currently, Mr. Yang is the Partner of Richfield Real Estate Investment LLC, headquartered in Westport, Connecticut.
Prior to beginning his ventures, Mr. Yang was the Marketing Manager at NorthStar Travel Media, the world’s largest business-to-business travel information and publishing house. During his tenure at NorthStar, Mr. Yang successfully created several new information and consulting service products utilizing NorthStar’s comprehensive database, and reached many contracts with numerous travel suppliers including cruise lines, hoteliers, airlines and tourism board offices.
Mr. Yang hold an MBA from the George Washington University, School of Business and Public Management, and graduated with a BA in Accounting from the Hunan University in China.
