Agustin focuses his practice on international law and taxation, and includes tax planning procedures, business structuring, providing advice on international transactions and tax-treaty planning.
Agustin is admitted to practice before the US Tax Court.
Prior to joining Procopio, Agustin practiced litigation in Mexico City at the law firm Perez de Acha Abogados, S.C., where he represented international companies on administrative and tax related legal proceedings. He also worked as a tax attorney at Creel, Garcia-Cuellar, Aiza y Enriquez, where he specialized in tax consultancy for international clients, giving tax advice for mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, along with providing legal tax audit services to international corporations.
