Cory A. Richards
Cory A. Richards focuses his practice on EB-5 investor-based immigration. He helps facilitate the EB-5 process for his clients by working with them to file their I-526s, I-829s and corresponding applications for permanent residency.
He works with developers across a variety of industries and is experienced dealing with a wide-range of EB-5 matters, including: developing new projects that qualify for EB-5 investments for private equity funds; the creation of new Regional Centers; and having projects adopted by existing Regional Centers or through pooled individual EB-5 petitions. Additionally, Cory works closely with attorneys practicing in securities law compliance, economists projecting job creation, and licensed securities brokers coordinating offerings.
Cory has a variety of experience in other types of employment-based immigration, including H-1B, PERM, CPT, OPT, EB-1 and EB-2, and works conjointly with both companies and universities on I-9 verification of employment matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Cory worked for a large-scale EB-5 migration consulting firm.
