Stone & Grzegorek LLP was formed in 2005 by Lincoln Stone and Kathleen Grzegorek, two experienced immigration law practitioners who are certified as specialists in immigration law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Only a small percentage of immigration law attorneys have certified specialist standing, which is attained based on depth and breadth of immigration law experience, specialized legal education courses, rigorous examination, and professional references. We have more certified specialists in immigration law than any other law firm.
In six years the law firm has grown to 15 immigration attorneys who are supported by a like number of support staff. The law firm's expertise covers a broad range of matters, including investor, employment, and family-based immigration, as well as removal proceedings, federal court appeals, asylum and naturalization.
Elsie Hui Arias is a partner of Stone & Grzegorek LLP. She is certified as a specialist in immigration and nationality law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
Ms. Arias has extensive experience with employment- and investment-based immigration, including labor certifications, nonimmigrant visas, and permanent residence options for entrepreneurs, professionals, academics, health care providers, and religious workers. She also has substantial experience representing clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in diverse matters, including family-based adjustment of status, citizenship and naturalization, and waivers for grounds of inadmissibility. She has successfully represented individuals in deportation/removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Arias earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from the University of California at Berkeley and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Davis School of Law. A member of the California State Bar since November 2000, Ms. Arias is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits.
