Mr. Lee’s expertise is in retail, banking, manufacturing, industrial real estate, healthcare, environmental, software and insurance management. With more than thirty years of working with Global 500 companies, he has delivered large scale corporate productivity and technology solutions aimed at improving corporate performance.
Mr. Lee orchestrated joint ventures with Seagram’s American President Lines, Mitsui OSK, Sybase, Sony, Lucky Stores, Environmental Group and PepsiCo. As a mergers and acquisition (M&A) principal, he restructured Winchell’s Donuts, Pizza Hut, Borland Software, and Shea Homes. He is advisor to Seneca Capital, and Ascend Capital.
Mr. Lee was Chairman and CEO of Jex Technologies, a provider of automated performance management technology, which was sold to a Japanese GIS/mapping company. He owned and operated Liquor Barn, a west-coast discount liquor chain, which was sold to Safeway.
Mr. Lee was part of the strategic team that acquired Canadian Turbo and later sold it to Shell in Canada. He worked with the Board of Mitsubishi during their restructuring in the late 1990’s. Most recently, as a joint venture partner of PacifiCap he completed the acquisition of Island Air from Oracle’s CEO Larry Ellison in March 2016.
