Mr. Green is a Managing Director of Windcrofte Capital. In this capacity, he leads the firm’s investment and financing activities in commercial and residential real estate, lodging and hospitality, gaming and casinos, and life settlements. Furthermore, he is responsible for the capital raising activities of Windcrofte Capital and managing its network of institutional and high net worth investment partners including: (i) $500 million Hong Kong and New York City based Chinese investment fund that is investing in urban commercial and residential real estate as well as casinos and gaming companies in the United States; (ii) $150 million European fund based in Oslo, Norway that is investing in multi-unit residential apartment and condominium properties in Florida; and, (iii) $3.0 billion environmental investment fund based in Chicago that is investing in environmental companies and green projects that are focused on agriculture, water, air and energy. Over his 30 year career in private equity, he has completed over $5.0 billion of transactions and financings in the United States, Asia and Europe using innovative and complex financing strategies and capital structures that involve combinations of equity, debt, and derivatives. Previous to Windcrofte Capital, Mr. Green held a number of partner-level and senior executive positions in several of the leading real estate and gaming companies. As the Executive Vice President of Portman Holdings, he financed and managed a $2.5 billion global real estate portfolio of trophy office buildings, iconic hotels, and renowned mixed use properties in the United States and Asia. As a Partner and the Chief Investment and Operating Officer at Metropolis, he financed and developed a $268 million portfolio of luxury rental and condominium properties in Washington D.C. As a Partner and the Chief Investment and Financial Officer at LandGrant Corporation, he financed and developed a $400 million portfolio of retail shopping centers, apartment complexes, and urban mixed use properties in California, Nevada, and Arizona. In the gaming and casino industry, Mr. Green has advised and arranged capital for a variety of commercial and Native American casinos.
